2nd session this year and wind teased at around 10kts with gusts of 12kts. Out was the Craig/Neil and they were planning the hour I was there. Rog packed up and Andy had gone. Dave C turned up rigged 10.5/Formula and was flying all over the place - def formula conditions. Rigged 145/9.2 GA Phantom. Nice sail, but rigging it to manufacturer settings with my weight wasn't planing. Letting everything off, it started planning when against tide towards kite zone. Nice workout (1245 cals) but hard work as only planning on off. Both Craig and Neil peed pass me a few times which was very frustrating. Both said Manor end was breezier. Couldn't get in straps sailing with tide. GA Phantom light wind set is heavy in the hand and a little uncomfortable. Def needs around 12kts. Fell in a few times gybing in the light wind, so glad was in winter suit. I have a top Pryde steamer but the neck - like all current necks lets water. They are way too short. Still not happy with light wind kit in 10kts.
